GYS Guru Puraskar 2025 is a A National Video Submission Contest Online for Working Teachers.

This competition is Totally Online.

Entries are submitted in Video Format and submitted via Google Form. Do read Competition Terms & Conditions below. We have given even the Evaluation Criteria to help you present a winning Entry.

Competition Terms & Conditions

  • Language for submission is English or Hindi.
  • Any working teacher from KG to PG can participate.
  • All participants will be provided with an e-certificate.
  • GETA will not use the submitted entry for commercial purposes. However, it may be published on GETA portals, social media channels, and collaterals.
  • There is NO ENTRY FEE to participate in this Competition.
  • Competition schedule and announcements are published on this page.
  • Evaluation or disqualification of Entries will be done by a Panel of Educators and Eminent Personalities. Decision of the Panel would be final.
  • Results will be published on this page. Winners will be intimated via phone and/or email.

Video Submission Format

  • Entry submission is online and is primarily in Video Format.
  • Minimum length of the Video is 5 minutes, maximum length is 7 minutes.
  • Maximum size of the Video is 100 MB..
  • One teacher can submit only one Video entry.
  • Video background MUST show GYS Guru Puraskar 2025. Preferably, acknowledge the name of the Competition in the speech. This is to make sure that this video is taken for this Competition.
  • A cover page, titles, and a last page are encouraged in the video.
  • You would get an email acknowledgement if the submission is successful. If you do not get that email by end of next working day, contact 9966775534.
  • 8 Prizes are announced subjected to a minimum of 200 qualified video submissions for a reasonable competition level. If less, the number of Awards may be reduced. Decision of the Panel would be final.
  • If the awards are not presented virtually, winners will be invited to the Awards Ceremony, the details of which will be announced after the results. Travel and accommodation expenses for attending the ceremony will be reimbursed by GETA Service Trust for the first three winners only, up to ?5,000 or the actual amount incurred, whichever is lower.

Evaluation Criteria

Qualified Video Submission would be evaluated as per the criteria below. This information should help Teachers to submit with maximum conformance to Competition Terms & Conditions and improve chances of Winning. Our intent in giving this guidance is to raise the standards of Submissions.

  • 70 Points for Content = Richness or number of ideas, originality and authenticity of ideas, results, examples, length of speech, relevance to topic, etc.
  • 10 Points for Presentation = Appearance in front of the Camera, attair, body language, greeting and thanking audiences, etc.
  • 10 Points for Speech = Clarity, pace, continuity, pauses, stuttering, voice modulation, recording quality
  • 10 Points for Language = Grammar, use of Vocabulary, Idioms, Phrases, etc.
