About the Competition
GYS Charaka Science Medal 2023 Contest is A National Online Multimedia Science Quiz Competition for students that just completed classes 6 to 9 in April/May 2023.
The objective is to promote interest in Science that could trigger enthusiasm towards innovation.
GETA Young Scientist Program has been publishing Online Science Quizzes every Wednesday at 7 PM since 26 January 2022. About 18,000 quizzes were taken by students from all over India in the first year. All quizzes are open for repeated practice in the Quizzes section. This competition is exclusively on Quizzes 01 to 70, i.e., all questions in the Competition are from those quizzes. So, you may practice at your comfort and get ready for the Summer Science Fun on Contest Date.
This competition is Completely Online. So, you have the comfort of participating from home.
The competition is conducted in two categories, viz., Juniors and Seniors. Students that completed 6th Class and 7th Class in April/May 2023 belong to Junior Category. Students that completed 8th Class and 9th Class in April/May 2023 belong to Senior Category.
The competition is in Two Rounds.
- Round 1 on 08.06.2023: A multimedia Online Quiz for 30 minutes. 10 Students will be shortlisted for Round 2 from each Category.
- Round 2 on 11.06.2023: A LIVE Quiz via Zoom Video Conferencing. This Round would be conducted separately for Juniors and Seniors. All shortlisted Students of a Category would be invited to the LIVE session together. Each student will face the LIVE Quiz and THREE Winners will be selected.
Syllabus: Multimedia MCQs from GYS Quizzes 31 to 70. [ LINK ].
Just 40 Quizzes. 25 MCQs each. Average 8 minutes to practice one quiz. All in all, 1000 interesting Multimedia questions. 5 to 6 hours of total practice. On the Mobile itself. Great Summer Fun. Woderful opportunity to win Certificates and Prizes.

Competition Terms & Conditions
- Students that completed Class 6 to Class 9 in April/May 2023 can participate.
- Students from Government, Aided, Corporate and Private Schools can participate.
- Language for the competition is English.
- There is NO ENTRY FEE to participate in this Competition.
- Evaluation will be done by a Panel of Educators and Eminent Personalities. Decision of the Panel would be final.
- Results will be published on GYS Charaka Science Medal 2023 website. Winners will be intimated via phone/WhatsApp/email.
- Prizes and Cash Vouchers would be delievered to Winners by Courier. There is no need to travel to a Venue for Prizes Distribution. However, if there is an opportunity for a Ceremony, you will be intimated in advance.
- All participants would receive a Participation Certificate by email.
