Many school students attend long classes, coaching sessions, and study hours without teachers or parents realizing when they are mentally exhausted. A student may appear attentive, but their brain focus, stress level, and understanding ability may already be dropping. This leads to poor learning, anxiety, headaches, low confidence, and reduced academic performance.
Currently, teachers mainly judge attention by looking at students’ faces or asking questions. However, many students hide stress, confusion, or tiredness because they feel shy or scared. In large classrooms, it becomes almost impossible for one teacher to identify which student is mentally overloaded.
This problem happens daily in schools, tuition centers, and online classes across India. It affects students preparing for exams the most. Continuous mental fatigue can reduce creativity, memory power, and interest in studies. In some cases, it also causes sleep disorders and emotional stress.
The issue became more noticeable after increased digital learning and long screen exposure. Yet, there is no simple student-friendly system used in schools to identify mental fatigue early.
