When unemployed individuals click on these fraudulent links, they often suffer financial losses, identity theft, data breaches, or unauthorized access to their bank accounts. In many cases, victims are asked to pay registration fees, training charges, or security deposits for fake jobs. Others unknowingly share sensitive information such as OTPs, Aadhaar details, or banking credentials.
The problem is worsened by limited digital literacy, lack of cybersecurity awareness, and the increasing sophistication of online scams. Many victims are unable to identify suspicious links or verify the authenticity of online opportunities. As a result, unemployed people not only lose money but also experience emotional stress, reduced confidence, and distrust in genuine employment platforms.
There is a strong need for a solution that can educate users, detect fraudulent links, provide real-time warnings, and help unemployed individuals safely access verified job opportunities online.
